Let's give this a try! I will be at everywhere at Union Station (it's on the Alameda side of the building, south end - the "Fred Harvey" room) on Wednesday, September 9 - I'll be there at 5:30p and will stay at least until 7:30p (might be later if things are going well!). Come join me and meet some other Fedizens! We can talk about trains or computers or ceramics or bees or the weather or whatever you want. Should be fun! And we can talk about dates/times/locations for future events, too - I know we're scattered all over the place and maybe there are better choices, but we gotta start somewhere, so here it is!

Location deets: Drinks and food are ordered at the bar, so there's no hassle with trying to split checks or anything. They do their own beer in pints and in halfs, and they have hard seltzers. I don't think they do wine, and they don't do cocktails in the main room. (They do in The Streamliner, but that's just at the weekends.) And hopefully getting to Union Station will be straightforward - A Line, B Line, D Line, Metrolink, Amtrak, and of course, many many bus routes. I'm not super familiar with the parking there, but there are at least a couple lots nearby.
